Students from Years 3-6 have an opportunity to participate in the popular school choir. Private music lessons are also offered such as:

  • Keyboard

  • Piano

  • Violin

  • Guitar

  • Drums

  • Private singing

Visual Arts:

At Holy Spirit Community School we recognise our responsibility to provide a Visual Arts program which sequentially develops required skills in both creating and appreciating artworks, while catering for the specific and individual needs of our students

Our curriculum focuses on specific sequential and developmental skills taught in Drawing, Painting, Threads and Textiles, Collage (including paper skills), Construction, Modelling and Printing. This curriculum is based on the Kate Hart Series, Skill Development P-6, published by Zart Art.

In celebrating Art at Holy Spirit we hold a bi-annual Art Show. This is an opportunity to showcase the artworks of every student in our school as well as an oppurtunity to participate in an auction of artworks created by each class.
